What we collect

If you create an account we store your email address and the progress data you generate (completed lessons, quiz scores, streak counts). Guest users generate no stored personal data. We do not collect names, phone numbers, or payment information.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to power your learning experience: saving your place, tracking streaks, and showing progress. We do not use it for advertising and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies & analytics

We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which lessons are most useful. No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. Session cookies are used only for authentication.

Children under 13: COPPA

Our Foundation Track serves learners ages 8–12. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• Parental consent: Children under 13 should only create an account with a parent or guardian present. A parent may create and manage the account on behalf of their child.
• Minimal data collection: For accounts associated with under-13 learners, we collect only a parent's email address and lesson progress data. We do not collect the child's name, photo, location, or contact information.
• No advertising: We do not show advertising to any user. Children's data is never used for commercial purposes.
• Parental rights: Parents and guardians may review, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about their child. Email us at hello@learnfinly.com and we will respond within 5 business days.
• No third-party sharing: We do not share data from under-13 users with third parties except as strictly required to operate the platform (authentication infrastructure) or as required by law.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings. For any other requests (data export, corrections, or questions about a child's account), email us at hello@learnfinly.com.
